THE ESSENTIALS
RGB is a client-validated protocol for issuing and transferring assets whose ownership is anchored to Bitcoin transaction outputs.
No. The wallet’s native Core controls key use and signing on your device. VOUT’s optional social services store social data, not wallet keys or a custodial balance.
RGB ownership also depends on client-side contract and transfer state. VOUT therefore treats an encrypted full-state archive and a tested restore as part of recovery, not as an advanced extra.
No. VOUT is in a limited beta. Use conservative amounts, keep the app installed, and complete a recovery rehearsal before relying on it.
